Cristóbal Araneda Yáñez - Piano
14 year old Cristóbal Araneda Yáñez has demonstrated a profound passion for music from an early age. By the age of two, he actively participated in church services, both singing and leading hymns. He began his formal piano studies in Talca at the age of four.
Since 2021, he has served as the pianist for the Las Condes Seventh-day Adventist Church, regularly accompanying various musical ensembles within the congregation. In the same year, he was awarded a scholarship to study at the Conservatory of the University of Chile, where he distinguished himself under the mentorship of Pamela Olmedo.
In April 2024, Cristóbal traveled to Hinsdale, Illinois, for intensive training with Professor Victor Moreno. He has since continued his studies with Professor Moreno through ongoing virtual instruction from Chile.
Justin Kent Gjata - Piano
Justin Gjata began studying piano at age 12 with Victor Moreno, who remains his mentor. He studied with Dr. Steven Havens at College of DuPage and Dr. Winston Choi at Roosevelt University, where he earned his Bachelor's in Piano Performance in May 2024. Justin has performed nationally and internationally, including concerts in Hawaii, Alaska, and Albania, where he was named Youth Ambassador of Peace. He currently teaches piano at Bel Canto Music Academy and collaborates with the Music Department at College of DuPage. In Fall 2025, he will begin his Master’s in Piano Performance at Roosevelt University.
Reid Taylor - Orchestra Conductor
Reid Taylor is a conductor, pianist, and operatic tenor who has led choruses and orchestras across the U.S. and Europe, including performances at Carnegie Hall. He has conducted operas such as La vida breve and The Medium, and served as chorus master for the Opera Festival of Chicago, where his work received critical acclaim and was broadcast on WFMT. Mr. Taylor has also led the Naperville Chorus and Festival Orchestra in major works like Carmina Burana and Messiah. In addition to performing and producing concerts nationwide, he is a linguist with experience translating technical documents in German. He studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western Reserve, and currently serves on the board of Lyric Opera Stage Artists.
